Spiritual Poetry
Your Grace is simply Beautiful,
Your Mercy’s Heaven sent,
Your Steadfast Love’s immovable,
Crowned by Your second advent.
Lay down your cares, your worries and troubles,
To pick up His Wonderful Grace,
Giving His Strength to meet all our struggles,
And Victory running the race.
Prolifically profound,
And resoundingly resilient,
Thus after two thousand years,
His Word retains its brilliance.
Waters of Wisdom to wade in,
A hearty feast of His Scriptures,
A Lamp to light life’s darkest path,
Then camp by Grace’s rivers.
To astonishing for words,
Are all Your Marvelous Deeds,
King of kings and Lord of Lords,
Your Son meets all our needs.
Returning to His Loving arms,
The Joy of His Embrace,
Forgetting all our earthly charms,
We quickly fall in Grace.
A place of Peace and Favor,
With The One we now call Savior.
Delivered from the darkness,
The most profound Hope to harness.
Heavy chains of guilt and past,
Hearts acquitted and free at last.
The awesome reality,
That He’s my totality,
Compels me to reverence,
This God of deliverance.
Then invite Him to be,
The Light inside me.
Continual transformation,
Christ now living in me,
On board for the duration,
The Holy Spirit is key.
Tangled up with troubles,
Some might say a mess,
But Hope surmounts my struggles,
As Christ relieves my stress.
